Guerrilla Advertising part 1 - Paris
Posted by Patrik Edvardsson | Posted in Le Pére Lachaise , oil , Paris , UvA | Posted on 1:36 PM
Airportline sent our Norwegian correspondent to Paris. She went straight to Le Pére Lachaise to make some art. The result is quite magnificent I must say, a doom like feeling spreads over the airportline posters in these images (klick on them to make them big and beautiful). This is the first installment in Airportline's new series Guerrilla Advertising where we send out correspondents in the world to re conceptualize what a blog means, and what advertising means. What comes out is for you to decide, tasteless marketing, art, crossborder communication, glocalisation, whatever reaction you get, that is what it means.
When Katharina does not put up Airportline posters in Paris she raises moths in the UvA Science park, writes in her blog and occasionally swing her hips to indiemusic. She also drinks oil.

Ahaha, tnx for the commercial, and slightly accurate description of me. I must correct one of your point though, we don't drink oil. We take oil baths, it's good for your skin!
More context around the art making in my latest blog entry!

Andreas: haha, cowobsession.com, that was once ugly website! The cow you gave me has become something of a local celebrity over here actually, I might give some examples soon in a space near by.
Damn! I wish I'd known about this, my visitor just left this morning to return home to LA. You could have had multi-continental flyering!
