Here is the second part of the Daily Shows visit to Sweden. This is pretty cool since they interview Leif Pagrotsky who is arguably one of the most interesting Swedish politicians. An avid concert goer, often spotted on music festivals, this little man became the minister for Trade in 1997 and the minister of Industry and Trade, both under Göran Persson (big fat former Social democratic Prime Minister) in 2002. One of few Swedish politicians who seem to have both and understanding and apprechiation concerning Swedish culture and its role on the international stage. His nickname? Paggan.
Otherwise Amsterdam is waiting for the inevitable destruction that Queens Day will bring. I try and get as much work done as possible, tents are being raised, traffic redirected and the weather has turned in to heavy cloud and wind. Just like it should be in other words.
